Conformity

Consumer and environmental protection through the implementation of national/international standards.

business challenge

Today, governments attach great importance to the development of international trade, but also to the protection of consumer health and safety and the environment. Some national standardisation bodies, acting within a legislative framework, require the intervention of independent companies in order to maintain full control over the goods placed on the market.

SOLUTION

What is VOC?

This service consists of verifying the conformity of goods with national standards or their international equivalent. At the same time, it is working to make importers and exporters aware of the need to comply with the standards and the benefits they will find there. For punctual deliveries or first deliveries, importers must follow the basic shipping process: documents proving compliance with the required standards, otherwise the goods can be tested in an approved laboratory. The goods are physically checked to ensure that the documents correspond to the products and that no anomalies are found. Regular shipments can be processed by registration or under license.

FAQ - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHO PAYS FOR THIS INSPECTION?

The government, importer or exporter, depending on the country of destination (see the corresponding form on our website).

ARE ALL GOODS INSPECTED?

No. Some may be prohibited on importation, others exempted, depending on the country of destination (see the corresponding sheet on our website).

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM VALUE SUBJECT TO CONTROL?

The minimum value is set by the client country. If the goods are the subject of several commercial invoices, all issued by the same exporter, arriving by the same means of transport, consigned to the same importer and having a total value greater than the minimum set, they shall be subject to a pre-shipment inspection.

MUST THE GOODS BE PACKED BEFORE INSPECTION?

The goods must be presented with their packaging. However, if the packaging does not allow the inspector to correctly identify the items, it must be reviewed and redone under the control of the inspectors.
